$10,000
September 2006
The Celebration Foundation
awarded $10,000 to the Osceola Education Foundation's "Crafts with Conviction" program.
The "Crafts with Conviction" program provides
opportunities for inmates to transform surplus raw materials
(scraps of wood, PCP pipe, die cuts, etc.) into valuable
educational tools for students in need. The products are
created or assembled by inmates, then distributed to classrooms
and students through the "Gift for Teaching" store,
located at the Osceola Education Foundation.
