The Celebration Foundation awarded $5,000 to the Celebration K-8 School for a Student Support Counselor for the year 2008-2009.
The Student Support Counselor provides defined and limited mental health counseling and consultation at school in order to enhance student academic and social success in the classroom. The focus with students and parents is to teach skills that can be used throughout one’s school and home life to better communicate, manage stress, problem-solve, and improve academic skills
